ALDS - architectural lighting design studio was founded in 2008 by  arch & lighting designer George Balan and arch & lighting designer Mauro Franchi.

Is an architectural & lighting design studio specialized in architecture, interior design , with an international profile.
Based on collective work and shared knowledge ALDS aims to favour dialogue and debate, to transform individual knowledge into increased creative potential.

Working at the cutting edge of lighting technology we create lighting that integrates unobtrusively into its environment, creating maximum impact with exceptional results.

We collaborate with teams of structure and HVAC engineers, landscape designers,  to found the best solutions for our projects. Studio will assist you in assembling a great team of consultants and builders and will assume the coordination between team members during the design and construction phases as needed.
