WINNING PROJECT
The main idea of the project was to create with this bridge a ring cycle and pedestrian, wich side and back to the city, coresponding with structural and formal contemporary, not only to the distribution requirements but also cultural and historical identity of this urban place.
Jury motivation
"Project of good overall quality, intelligently blends engineering and urban planning. Is a contemporany reinterpretation of the type of the arch bridge, the structural solution allows you to consolidate the rocky shores. Very thorough integration winth the existing road network and the development plan solves brilliantly the height difference between the two sides."
